Our Program Director oversees day-to-day operations of the program and is responsible for staff management, financial budgeting including revenue and cost management, wound care and hyperbaric medicine reimbursements, service marketing and community education. Our Program Director must maintain collaborative and positive relations with hospital administration, other hospital departments and staff, and clients.

    • Near visual and hearing acuity with or without accommodation to distinguish changes in patient physical status and/or read documents and computer screen
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written) for effective communication with other staff members, physicians, community members, patient and patient families of all social and economic levels from a diverse cultural and ethnic population
  • Experience in ambulatory care setting highly desirable

Can you say the pressure is on? Our Hyperbaric Technician needs to be able to explain to a patient what they’re going to feel in a chamber as well as their safety. You will assume complete responsibility for the safety and effective operation, control, and maintenance of the Hyperbaric Chamber systems and all supporting components.

 

What will you be doing?
You will make recommendations for departmental safety policies and incorporate new safety procedures as appropriate.
You will have the authority to restrict and remove any potentially hazardous equipment items from hyperbaric environment.
You will act as the departments representative for chamber system maintenance and be the resource for resolving safety related issues for the Hyperbaric Department.
You will provide leadership for the technical personnel and supervise their standards for the departments training and qualification program relating to safe operation of the chamber system.
You will be interacting with patients and explaining the process, ensuring that the patients feel reassured and comfortable.

 

What do you need for this position?

Friendly, fun and fantastic front office coordinator. We are seeking an experienced high energy Office Coordinator who is highly motivated, resourceful, and overall a person who is passionate about coordinating quality patient care for wound care patients. We are looking for a person who is responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions of our wound care program.

 

What you would be doing?
Front Office Coordinator would include but is not limited to business operations, clerical, patient billing and accounting functions, medical records, reception and patient scheduling. This position has some supervisory responsibilities for other office personnel.

 

What do you need to have?

  • High school graduate
  • Additional education preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years medical office experience
  • Computer experience in word processing, database programs and spreadsheets
  • Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills
  • Medical accounts billing experience desirable
  • Transcription experience desirable
  • Physical demands and work environment:
    • Motor coordination and finger dexterity are required to handle papers and to operate computer keyboard, office machines with or without accommodation
    • Near visual acuity and hearing is necessary for data entry, filing and exchange of information
    • Light lifting (less than 10 pounds) of moderate frequency
    • Work in an office environment with adequate light, heat and ventilation
    • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk
